We all have reservations and preferences when donating. In the wake of 911, we do want to donate to a decent organization and obviously want to make sure that our money reach the needy fast and secure. Every one has different criteria of judging charities. Following is a list for your convenience. My humble suggestion is that people print out the list, attach an envelop, with your desired charity, and a postage stamp and place at your nearest desi grocery store/mosque. You can give your Gora Coworkers the Christian charity info.
Lets all work together to help our brothers and sisters.
Allah has blessed us with so much, and we must unite to help begin reconstructing the broken lives of our fellow Pakistanis. We ask you to please open your generous hearts and donate to organizations helping out with this cause. It is the holy month of Ramadan and InshaAllah the rewards for donating today will be even greater. We all seek Allah Subhanahu WaTa'Aala's mercy and forgiveness and we pray for His Mercy on our brothers and sisters in Pakistan.
